As one of the largest employers in Western New York and with a budget of almost $1 billion, the Buffalo Public School District spends a lot of money on a yearly basis. A large percentage of those dollars are spent with businesses in and around Buffalo.

If you are a small, minority, or women-owned business in Buffalo and are looking for an opportunity to become a vendor to this billion government agency, the BPS is hosting a series of webinars that are designed to help you learn what you need to know to be successful.

The Buffalo Public School's Purchase Department is sponsoring these webinars and is the decision of BPS that is responsible for assisting the rest of the district with the acquisition of goods and services, the development of bid specifications, the selection of bidders, and the awarding of contracts to vendors.

The two webinars are scheduled for Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Session 1 is at 10 a.m. and Session 2 is at 6 p.m.

During the webinars, you will learn all about how to become a contracted vendor with the Buffalo Public Schools. There is going to be a Q&A session to answer all of your questions and they will also tell you all about how they outreach specifically to minority and women-owned business enterprises in Western New York.
