Have you just upgraded your cell phone to the latest and greatest—the one that can do almost everything and even cooks dinner for you? Wondering what to do with that old phone you used to carry around.

GSWNY MLK Girl Scout Troop #30294 in partnership with Secure The Call Organization,
is launching our 1st annual cell phone drive with this years theme of “100 Phones for 100 Years”. The used cell phones that we collect will be reprogrammed to call 911 and other emergency numbers and distributed to Senior Citizens Centers, Domestic Victim Shelters and Police and Sheriff Departments, without the need of a cellular service plan and without a fee. These donated phones can be a crucial lifeline. Everyone needs to be able to call 911 in an emergency.

We will accept ANY cell phone and battery. In addition to providing phones to victims, your donation also provides much needed service.

DROP PHONES OFF AT: in the barrel at KING CITY STORE 2660 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 any time during their regular store hours.

With your help, victims can have a 24-hour lifeline to the help they need.

Secure The Call is a charity organization that provides free
911 emergency –only cell phones to Senior Citizens Centers, Domestic Violence Shelters and Police and Sheriff Departments which in turn are given back to the community and used to contact the police in case of an emergency.
