Each month, Chautauqua County has health code inspectors who visit restaurants and other spots with food preparation. The inspectors are tasked with trying to keep us safe. They thoroughly review each restaurant's operations and location to make sure the restaurants are not violating any health codes. Health code inspectors report on critical violations such as "Critical Violation [RED] Food workers do not use proper utensils to eliminate bare hand contact with cooked or prepared foods."
