With Halloween falling on Sunday this year, there should be plenty of free and fun events around Western New York. It's also important to make sure the kids are safe, both from a trick-or-treating standpoint and avoiding exposure to COVID-19. With many kids having to miss out on Halloween fun last year, due to the pandemic, it is good to see events happening again. When I was a kid, I used to get so excited to pick my costume and get all the free candy.
As of now, there is a 50 percent chance of rain on Saturday, with a high of 55 degrees. On Sunday, there's a 31 percent chance of rain with a high of 56 degrees. The weather may not be ideal, but at least there's no snow in the forecast, so we have that going for us.
