The Buffalo Police Athletic League is hosting many free summer programs for kids in Buffalo.

Playstreets

Playstreets is a free sports and fitness program that will inspire youth to stay active. Participants will receive free sports equipment. Only 50 young people can participate. The program has started already and is held Tuesday and Thursday through June 2021. You can get more information and register here.

Boys on the Right Track

Boys on the Right Track is a free after-school program. It is a nine-week program for young men ages 8 to 13. This program will train them to run a 5K. The 2021 program began this week. You can get more information and register here. The program is offered at no cost thanks to a partnership with Buffalo PAL.

Mayor Byron Brown's Game Changers

Game Changers is a free basketball skills and drills mentoring program. It for young ladies and young men ages 8 to 18 years of age. The registration deadline is this Saturday, May 1, 2021. The program will be held on May 1st, May 8th, May 15th, and May 22nd from 10 am to 1 pm. The rain dates will be the following day (Sundays) from 2 to 5 pm. It will take place in Masten Park, in Buffalo. There are only 100 spots available. You can get more information and register here.

NFL Flag

NFL Flag is a free program for boys and girls ages 8 to 14 years of age. There are 100 slots available to young people who are residents of the City of Buffalo. The NFL Flag program will begin in June 2021 and will be held in McCarthy Park. The deadline to register is June 1. You can get more details and register here.
