Fourth of July Weather Forecast Not Looking Great For Buffalo
There are certain days and weekends of the calendar year that people really pay attention to the weather forecast. I think the most-watched is Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as people hope they get a white Christmas. Halloween is another day people pay close attention to the forecast.
The Fourth of July and that entire weekend is certainly a forecast many people care about, and even though it's still over a week until the holiday, early forecasts aren't looking great.
According to Mike Cejka of WIVB 4 Warn Weather, the early forecast for the Fourth of July calls for high-60s and scattered showers.
It will be less humid and sultry as well.
The Weather Chanel is also calling for scattered rain and thunderstorms for the Fourth of July in Buffalo.
I'm hoping the forecast can change at least a little bit. I don't mind the slightly cooler temperatures, but rain is absolutely the worst-case scenario for this holiday because of the fireworks and other pyrotechnics. It also dampers that weekend's festivities and with many watching from lawn chairs and blankets, rain would hinder being able to do that as well.
There are other activities to do in Western New York for next weekend, other than fireworks; such as restaurant patios, parks, movies, etc. Check out some of the best things to do in Buffalo for the Fourth of July Weekend!
