Facebook Threat in Albion Cause for More Police at Albion School

There will be an increased police presence Monday at Albion Central School after a violent threat was made on Facebook.

Albion Police and FBI officials deemed the threat not credible.

Albion Police said it received help Sunday from the FBI, investigating a post from a student that contained a threat toward an unspecified school. The FBI said someone in Croatia had taken over the student's Facebook account through a malware attack on a phone, before making that threat.
