Erie County DMVs Will Be Closed Due To Winter Storm In Buffalo

Due to the winter snowstorm, which is expected to dump feet of snow on Western New York, the Erie County Auto Bureaus will be closed. The county already announced that its offices will be closed,

Erie County Clerk Mickey Kearns tweeted that the county's Auto Bureaus will be closed on Friday and Saturday.

#UPDATE: In an effort to keep our employees and customers safe, the @ErieCountyClerk's Office & Auto Bureaus will be CLOSED Friday. All Auto Bureaus will also be CLOSED Saturday, due to the lake effect snow that is expected to significantly impact #Buffalo and #ErieCountyNY.❄️

If you had a previously scheduled appointment at the DMV, you will be contacted to get it rescheduled after the storm.

There are many more closures expected. Buffalo Schools will be closed tomorrow as well. Poloncarz also recommends that school districts in Erie County close on Friday, if the forecast remains the same.
