This event will happen weekly. The Jay/Sharptet band will be performing live this week.

We will be kicking off the series by spotlighting one of our up-and-coming next-generation jazz groups in the city. Fresh off a recording date for the forthcoming new release of an album, the Jay/Sharptet enjoys performing music with a focus on original compositions and arrangements. Inspired by ensembles such as the great Miles Davis Quintets they strive to approach every tune with a unique interpretation and captivating melodies. ~Jazz On The Plaz!

It's great to see live events happening again here in Western New York. I've missed live music. I was also reminiscing about the live shows that M&T Bank used to sponsor downtown during lunch. Those always had so many talented performers and it was nice to enjoy live music downtown.
