Drake Gets a Tattoo of Denzel Washington
If there's one thing outside of making music that Drake loves, it's getting new tattoos that tribute to some of his favorite figures, as we've seen over the years on various body parts. Most recently, the Toronto rapper has gotten a brand new set of ink, tributing to Denzel Washington and his character in the 1990 Spike Lee film, Mo' Better Blues.
The new tattoo is designed by artist Inal Bersekov, who has previously worked with Drizzy on previous tats for him, noting to fans and followers that it is still unfinished. The tattoo shows Denzel as his Bleek Gilliam character facing sideways, with his infamous trumpet next to him.
"Mo' better blues" first session on my brother @champagnepapi , thanks as usual for your trust," Bersekov writes. "Clarke: 'Cause mo better makes it mo better" @denzelwashington1 @officialdenzel#denzelwashington #mobetterblues #tattoo #tattoos #tats #ink#inked #canada #toronto #jazz #blues."
On top of getting a Denzel Washington tattoo, the More Life MC also got some new ink that tributes to his fallen friend and OVO affiliate, Fif, who was recently killed this month. While there are rumors that Fif was shot and killed in Toronto, there is still no confirmation as to how he died.
If you recall, Drizzy has gotten plenty of tattoos tributing to people who have impacted him, with his most recent previous set of ink paying homage to his Young Money label head, Lil Wayne.
