Drake, Cardi B and More Share 2019 New Year’s Celebrations
Depending on your perspective, 2018 was either good, bad or somewhere in between. Either way, now it's on to the next one. After a year filled with fire tracks, dope videos and on point projects, 2019 is upon us, which means new things are on the horizon. Of course, the new year cannot arrive properly without an epic country-wide New Year's turn up that many of your favorite rap artists took part in.
Drake hosted a star-studded New Year's Eve party in Los Angeles. The shindig happened at the Delilah in West Hollywood and was dubbed The Mod Selection Champagne New Year's Party. It was attended by a who's who of A-list entertainers including Diddy, Chris Brown, Nas, Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Idris Elba, Clay Thompson and more.
Cardi B is in the Land Down Under. Despite some issues upon her arrival at the airport that almost turned ugly, she performed at multiple events including Sydney's Field Day Festival for the holiday.
"SYDNEY AUSTRALIA A FUCKIN MOVIEEEEEE ...HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!" she captioned video of her New Year's set.
Not everyone was out. Swizz Beatz kept it close to home and turned up in his own crib, dolo, sharing video via IG. Big Boi took his family to St. Lucia to get away from it all. DJ Khaled also kept it low-key celebrating at home with his family.
