Do you have one of the recalled lounge chairs that may cut off your finger?

You may want to check your shed, or wherever else you keep your chairs. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling about 155,000 True Living Sling Loungers after reports of amputation or cuts to fingers.

The loungers, that have white frames with blue or green fabric, were sold in 2019 at Dollar General stores nationwide for about $20. The problem is, the chairs that were made in China may unexpectedly collapse, sending you to the emergency department.

The Safety Commission has received three reports of the sling loungers collapsing, resulting in amputations or lacerations to fingers from the metal folding joints. OUCH!

The recalled loungers have a 12-digit UPC number 430001047344 that is located on the receipt. Who the heck still has a receipt from 2019 for a 20 dollar chair?

If you have one of these recalled loungers, you're advised to stop using it immediately and cut the fabric of the chair to make it unusable. You can contact Dollar General to return the recalled loungers for a full refund of the purchase price.
