Community: Donations are Needed Tomorrow for Hurricane Harvey Victims
The Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals will be collecting supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey tomorrow, September 9th. Get the details to help here!
You can drop off your donations tomorrow, Saturday, September 9th from 12 to 3 pm at the Buffalo Urban League, located at 15 Genesee Street in Buffalo! The items needed are below!
The Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals is teaming up with other National Urban League Young Professionals Chapters to support the #YPHoustonRecovery relief efforts to supply the following items:
Toiletries
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Soap
- Towels/Blankets
- Feminine Products
- Lotion
- Baby Formula
- Shampoo
- Deodorant
- Socks/underwear (larger sizes needed)
Cleaning Supplies
- Bleach
- Rubber Gloves/Gardening Gloves
- Trash Bags (XL)
Monetary Donations
- The immediate need is funds to support the influx of displaced families. The Mayor of Houston has set up a relief fund for those who want to make a contribution, CLICK HERE to make a donation.
