Community Cookout and Voter Registration Event on Saturday
The Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals in partnership with 1199 SEIU and The Health Education Project are hosting another Voter Registration Event today, Saturday, October 3rd and this time they're having a cookout.
The deadline to register to vote is quickly approaching and, I don't know how you feel, but I really think this is going to be the most important election cycle in 50 years.
I know you watched the Presidential Debate last week, I can't stress enough how important it is that you don't be silent! You can make sure your voice is heard.
Be seen. Be Heard. Vote Nov. 3rd
We have all the information you need about getting registered to vote in this year's Election Cycle here on our website.
The Cookout and Voter Registration event is happening from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at MLK Park, near the Statue. You will be able to register to vote, learn all about your voter rights, and there will be some representatives from the US Census Bureau will be on hand to help you complete your 2020 Census.
It's a cookout, so you know there will be food and dope music (did I mention that I was curating the soundtrack?). This event is free and open to the entire community.
