Community: Come Out for Restorative Justice Day on April 27
The Erie County Restorative Justice Coalition, in conjunction with University at Buffalo, is hosting their second annual Restorative Justice Day on April 27, 2017! Get the details to attend this free community event! Restorative Justice Day will be held from 9 am to 5 pm! The ECRJC aims to bring Restorative Practices to the Buffalo area and educate schools, judicial entities, and the community about this alternative approach to retributive justice. The hope is that, through this practice, that even Buffalo's most distressed communities can be healed and empowered.
The event will feature Carolyn Boyes-Watson, Director of the Center for Restorative Justice at Suffolk University, as a speaker and provide education, workshops, and a community action panel on how to use Restorative Justice to help the Buffalo community. Lunch will be provided!
