If you were to take a look at the nightlife scene in Buffalo and Western New York today, you would have a very hard time believing that this was once a hotbed of clubbing and partying east of the Mississippi. But, believe it or not, it's true. For decades, people would come from far and wide to party in Western New York and Southern Ontario.

With close access to Niagara Falls and Toronto, so many of us who have been around for a while have memories of unforgettable nights spent with our best friends partying in some of the hottest spots around.

I was talking with some friends, and we were reminiscing about some of the great clubs and night hangouts we stayed out until 4 am (or later) partying at.

So many names of places stick in our memories, from Club Paradise to Pharaohs, The Pine Grill to The Club Etcetera, Zanzabar, Crawdaddy's, The Vermilion Room, and so many more locations that we've long forgotten about. We used to have so much fun.
