One Of America’s Wealthiest Zip Codes Is In Western New York

With several economic indicators showing that the American economy is booming, there are several places all over the United States that are thriving.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has broken 50,000 for the first time ever, along with several other stock markets in the country doing very well. Things look like they're going pretty well.

Now, while Buffalo has been known to be one of the poorest cities in the country, that doesn't mean that there aren't pockets of wealth in the community, and for the second year in a row, a Western New York zip code has made the list of the 1,000 wealthiest in the nation.

New York State Has Dozens Of America's Wealthiest Zip Codes

Business First reviewed data on more than 33,000 zip codes in the United States and ranked them along several different economic factors and data points. Using data from places like the Census Bureau's 2023 ACS, Zillow's Home Value Index, and more, the Empire State had 89 of the 1,000 richest zip codes, while states like California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida helped to round out the top five.

While most of the New York zip codes that made the list surround New York City, there is one in particular that is nestled right here in Western New York.

Clarence Center Is One Of America's Wealthiest Zip Codes

For the second year in a row, 14032 has made the list.

Out of the thousand most wealthy communities, Clarence Center holds the 946th position.

The combination of the area's high per capita income and the value of the real estate in the hamlet should make it pretty clear to see how the exclusive part of the town of Clarence made the list.
