Honestly, I believe the first time I heard of a Chicken Finger Pizza was here in Buffalo. I remember ordering chicken on pizza, but it was never chicken fingers. I mean that's basically a whole other order, right? But God bless Buffalo for taking two entrees and combining them into one delicious dish! The pizzerias below have 4-star ratings or better and are listed in no particular order. If I left your fav off the list, leave a comment and let me know. Bone apple tea!

Here are some of the reviews:

Fatman's Pizza - Zack Kociszewski left a 5-star review on Google,

Only ordered here a few times because I just found out about them. Great pizza wings and subs and very fair prices. Highly recommend 👍

La Nova - Trever Welch reviewed its Chicken Finger Pizza on Google,

Chicken fingers on the Buffalo chicken was the best idea definetly recommend any of their pizza

Lovejoy Pizzeria - Andrew S gave their Chicken Finger Pizza a 5-star rating on Google,

A hidden gem, mostly. I don't think I've ever had a better chicken finger pie and their wings are always well done. I could dock a star for them not doing any app-based order taking, but it's really part of the charm. Sometimes the phone will ring 20 times, forward to another line, then ring another 10 times before an annoyed man who is speaking through a can on a string takes your order. Feels like the good old days. Universal truth of pizzerias: the more godawful the phone system, the better the pizza. Just do it, it's so worth it.

13 Upstate Food Favorites You Can't Buy Outside of New York State

Upstate New York is the home to many fantastic food favorites. Mention sponge candy to somebody 100 miles outside Buffalo and you are probably going to get a blank stare. Mention a Michigan hot dog to anybody not from around Plattsburgh. Same stare. So here is a list of 13 regional food icons that you cannot buy outside of the empire State.

I will add this asterisk. You certainly can buy some of these items online, like the Saratoga Peppermint Pigs. Perhaps the Stix and Sauce item is known by another name somewhere in the country. Salt potatoes may have gravitated elsewhere but if so nobody knows where they started. And Grandma Brown. Well, you can buy that sweet lady's baked beans on eBay. But for the most part you would have to walk into a store or restaurant in Upstate New York to enjoy these "regional" fan favorite foods.
