UPDATE:

Cardi B has turned herself in to authorities, a NYPD spokesperson has confirmed to XXL, and has has received a desk ticket for a third degree assault misdemeanor charge today (Oct. 1). She will be required to appear at a Queens court for arraignment on Oct. 29.

According to TMZ, the Bronx rapper was also charged with an additional misdemeanor for reckless endangerment. She reportedly had her mugshot taken and was fingerprinted.

"We're aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm on that night," Jeff Kern, an attorney representing Cardi B, told press outside the police precinct. "We expect that the matter is going to be resolved expeditiously."

Joe Tacopina, who is said to be representing Cardi's alleged victims, issued a warning on Monday. "She continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this. But it doesn't matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B ... if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice," he told TMZ.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Allegations that Cardi B ordered her crew to attack two New York City bartenders may turn ugly for the "Bodak Yellow" rapper. According to a report from TMZ, Cardi is expected to turn herself in to police on Monday (Oct. 1) and will be ordered to appear in court for her role in an August strip club fight.

Sources say the "Be Careful" artist will be charged for allegedly ordering an attack on sisters Jade and Baddie Gi, who work as bartenders at the Angels Strip Club in NYC. Cardi will reportedly be charged with two misdemeanors for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct but will not be arrested when she surrenders, although she will receive a summons to appear in court.

According to the bartenders, who say Cardi believes Jade slept with Offset, they came face-to-face with the rapper on Aug. 29 when her crew began throwing bottles and chairs at the them. The sisters also say Cardi threw at least one of the bottles at them.

XXL has reached out to the New York Police Department for comment. As for Cardi's team, a source close to the crew calls the attack "spontaneous" and says it began after someone threw a drink, adding that nothing was planned.

In August, it was reported that Jade and Baddi Gi had hired attorney Joe Tacopina to represent them. At the time, the lawyer reportedly said he was thinking about filing a lawsuit against Cardi and the others responsible for the alleged incident. Tacopina also said the sisters would file a police report and name Cardi as part of it.
