Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Babie Gurl is something very special and soon the whole world will know it. She is a singer, songwriter for hire, poet, femcee and overall, a humble BEAUTIFUL individual who loves all kinds of music. She specializes in the neo soul genre, but often becomes a chameleon to other genres. Some say when they hear her sing it's like listening to an Angel, but it doesn't stop there....She is a lyricist as well and is often compared to the likes of Lauryn Hill. She's well known to draw a crowd and well known for her "Catchy Hooks."

Babie was birthed into music, coming from a family of singers, rappers, and musicians. She is the youngest of 6 siblings (hence the name "BABIE GURL") and the rising star in her family. She's done tons of shows at numerous events, worked with an array of artists and producers, and has written some of the best songs that you all will have the privilege to hear her sing and/or other mainstream artists sing in the near future. She specializes in vocal arrangement, vocal coaching, creative writing, and is also a Loctition(hair dresser...'True Locs'). She is also a youth mentor/counselor, the Ceo of SoulFully Yours Musik (SYM), and the co-founder and Executive Director of 4 Quarters. She has already released her 1st mix tape "SoulFully Yours Vol.1ne Babie Gurl Presents...," which sold out 3 times locally and around the states. She will be releasing her first album "Definition of a Queen" in 2016 and will release her 2nd mix tape "SoulFully Yours Vol.2wo Babie Gurl Presents...MORE" following!
