Buffalo Urban Air Adventure Park to Reopen Soon
It's beginning to look like life is back! Businesses are reopening, restaurants can increase their capacities, vaccines are being administered. Another business in Western New York has announced that it is reopening. Urban Air Adventure Park at Walden Galleria will open its doors for fun, just in time for spring and summer. It announced that it will be back in business on Friday, March 26. It has been closed since October 2020, when the Erie County Department of Health forced it to shut down. The "bad" part is that it will have a limited capacity, at least initially. Urban Air will only be allowed to 25 percent of its normal capacity. It's encouraging people to buy admission in advance so that they don't miss out on the fun.
Urban Air Adventure offers go-karts, trampolines, climbing walls, rope courses, mini-golf, dodgeball and other fun activities. It's definitely a "birthday central" type of place for the kiddos or even a date night spot for active adults.
Urban Air Adventure has put some new policies in effect, according to WIVB,
- Temperature checks will be conducted on guests and employees
- There will be thorough cleanings of equipment and facilities
- Food services will only accept cashless payments
The new hours will be 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. During weekends, the hours will be extended from 10 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. On Sundays, Urban Air will be open from 10 am to 8 pm. You can visit Urban Air Adventure's website to get more info.
This is the type of stuff I have been waiting on to reopen. Restaurants are cool, but there's only so much eating out you can do. I'm ready to have some fun! I've never been to Urban Air Adventures, but it will be on my list for the spring and summer. If there's one thing I've learned from the pandemic, its that life is short, so grab life by the you know whats!
