Buffalo Mayoral Candidates to Participate in Public Forum
There are quite a few offices up for election in 2021 and Buffalo Mayor is one of them. To help the people be more informed about the candidates who are running for office and issues that matter to the community, a group of non-profits is sponsoring a virtual public forum.
In a press release, the League of Women Voters of Buffalo Niagara announced that they are hosting a free Candidate Forum for the upcoming Democratic Primary election for Mayor.
The forum is scheduled for Thursday, June 10, and will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. via the virtual platform Zoom. This forum is free and the public is invited, and encouraged, to participate and submit questions.
The League has invited all three of the current democratic candidates, Byron Brown, Le'Candice Durham, and India Walton, to participate in the forum.
The League of Women Voters of Buffalo Niagara is a non-partisan, non-profit organization and has partnered with the Buffalo Jewish Community Relations Council, the Buffalo Urban League, the National Action Network, NAACP Buffalo Branch, VOICE Buffalo, and the WNY Peace Center to bring this forum to the people.
To register to attend the forum, and submit questions, you can send an email to the League of Women Voters of Buffalo Niagara here.
