The Library by Mail services are totally free and available for Erie County residents who are physically unable to visit a physical library either temporarily or permanently. This can be due to a lack of transportation, illness that keeps you home, or a disability (long or short term) that has caused you to be homebound.

Any services you can physically check out from the library, like books, music CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks, are available by mail.

Signing up for the service is pretty easy, you can apply online or mail in an application to the Central Library in downtown Buffalo.
