New Way To Access Library Services Available In Western New York
One of the great things about living in Western New York is that we have some pretty good public services and activities throughout the region.
From the Buffalo Science Museum and the Tifft Nature Preserve to the Niagara Falls State Park, we're pretty lucky in the 716.
With all that considered, another local resource is now adding a new service poised to make things just a little better for plenty of folks in the Buffalo area.
Buffalo & Erie County Public Library Now Offering Library By Mail
If you live in Erie County and would like to use any of the 37 locations in the region but can't make it to one, the Library is making it a bit easier for you to still take advantage of their services.
Library by Mail is a new service offered by the BECPL that allows you to check out various Library materials.

The Library by Mail services are totally free and available for Erie County residents who are physically unable to visit a physical library either temporarily or permanently. This can be due to a lack of transportation, illness that keeps you home, or a disability (long or short term) that has caused you to be homebound.
Any services you can physically check out from the library, like books, music CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks, are available by mail.
Signing up for the service is pretty easy, you can apply online or mail in an application to the Central Library in downtown Buffalo.
