If you are working on getting things together for Valentine's Day, don't forget to pick up some chocolate. Whether your boo loves dark, milk, or white chocolate, there's a candy store in Buffalo that has what you're looking for.

But why do we traditionally give our lovers chocolate on V-day? Well, the reason is pretty selfish actually - because it is supposed to make them want us, according to The Fact Site,

Chocolate is supposed to symbolize affection, attraction, deep love, luxury, passion, and sensuality. Some scientists have undertaken various studies and seen that chocolate is also an aphrodisiac. It increases the desire and energy levels. Endorphins are released.

Parkside is located at 3208 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14214, and they even offer curbside pick-up on advance orders. Parkside also offers more traditional fare like cherry cordials and chocolate creams. You can visit their product page here.

Parkside Candy has been a part of Buffalo’s history since the company was founded in 1927. Creators of homemade chocolates, old-fashioned lollipops, an infamous old fashion ice cream parlor, and their signature confection, sponge Candy – all bring a feeling of home and nostalgia with each delicious bite.

If somehow you're a Buffalo-native and you don't know about Ko-Ed Candies, what in the world have you been doing, living under a rock?! This is the single best candy store I've ever been in. The candy always looks awesome and tastes even better, and there's a darn-good reason they're famous for their sponge candy! It's simply the best around. We even go here just to get candy to send to family members in other states because they miss it so much. Seriously, if you haven't been there yet, get there YESTERDAY! You absolutely will not be disappointed!
