Bootsy Collins Talks New Album [Interview]

The Legendary Bootsy Collins talks about his new album, 'The Power of the One' with Yasmin Young.

Booty's new album, The Power of the One, is available now on CD and all streaming services. It will be available on vinyl in December. The album features guest appearances from Christian McBride, Branford Marsalis, George Benson, Emmaline, Bernard Purdie, Larry Graham, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Béla Fleck, Dr. Cornel West, EmiSunshine, Victor Wooten, Uché and more.

During our interview, I asked Bootsy which was his favorite song on The Power of the One. I clearly put him in a difficult spot. He said the songs are like his children and it's hard for him to choose just one. He did mention 'Wishing Well' and 'The Power of the One,' so if you are true Bootsy fan, check those out for sure.
