Metal Pin Found In Halloween Candy:

(Clarence, NY) -- Erie County Sheriff's Deputies confirm finding a metal pin inside of a Nestle Crunch Bar from Clarence.  Parents are urgently urged to check all candy, especially if your child went Trick-or-Treating on Chelsey Court and Westminster Drive in Clarence, and Forestview Drive, Crestwood Lane, Oakview Drive, Timberlane Drive and Timberlane Court in Clarence, according to News Reports.   Parents and anyone who find or are aware of anything suspicious inside of any candy are urged to contact the Erie County Sheriff's Department at (716) 858-7618.

Hazardous Material Scare in Ellicott Square:

(Buffalo, NY) -- According to News Reports, Police Swan & Washington Streets were closed down yesterday after someone suspected that a package found in their car contained a poison called Ricin.  A Hazmat Crew was called to investigate.   Acting Fire Commissioner Johnathan Eaton said this, according to News Reports:

“We were able to remove the packages and the chemical was unknown. The chemical was deemed safe.”
