There’s word that actress Halle Berry broke her foot while filming “Cloud Atlas “ in Spain. The Oscar winner was at a house where she was staying while filming the sci-fi movie when she took a misstep, causing the injury. Berry went to the hospital and her foot put in a cast. She later left in a wheelchair.

Congrats to Ne-Yo. The singer-songwriter is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Atlanta boutique owner Monyetta Shaw. The couple is  expecting their second child together as well. They became parents last November with a daughter Madilyn Grace.

There’s word that baseball legend Hank Aaron has established a $100,000 scholarship at Clark Atlanta University to help students pay for their education.  The money is coming from the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation.   It’s for students pursuing careers in public service, teaching, social work, humanities, science and medicine.

Grammy-winning rapper T.I. is back at an Atlanta halfway house after weeks of fighting with federal prison officials who said he committed a parole violation.  They were upset over him traveling with a TV producer and a manager when he was released from an Arkansas prison on his way to Atlanta.

Congrats to singer Fantasia who is expecting a baby boy.  Her camp put the word out just the other day. It's Fantasia's first child with on-again off-again boyfriend Antwuane Cook. She already has a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

News outlets are reporting that out of work wide receiver Terrell Owens says he’ll play again.  He’s says it’s just a matter of time. The football star, who had knee surgery during the off season, was in Hollywood this week.

There’s word that Serena Williams isn’t going to be banned from future U.S. Open tennis tournaments for verbally abusing an umpire during Sunday’s women’s final against Australian Samantha Stosur.  Officials fined her $2,000 for the incident.
