A “Splash Facility” For YOU!

According to The Buffalo News, a local Community Activist (Samuel A. Herbert) needs your help in speeding up a $4.5 Million Dollar "Splash Park" Project so that it'll be operable by this year's annual Buffalo June Festival...."Juneteenth"!

The Buffalo News report explains that there's a Community Meeting on Tuesday, April 17 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, in the Frank E. Merriweather Jr. Library, 1324 Jefferson Ave... which is open to the public... to support escalating the construction of a Splash Facility @ Martin Luther King jr. Park in time for Juneteenth.  What is now a "Splash Pad" would be expanded to a "year round" Splash Facility including an ice rink in the Winter, a reflecting pool in the Spring, and a Splash Pad in the Summer.
