A Local Young Chess Champion Is Teaching Classes In Buffalo
Chess has always been a very interesting game to me, for a long time, I thought that anyone that played chess would have to be a very smart person or someone that has a lot of time on their hands.
According to WIVB, Danielle little is the founder of Young Royalty Chess Academy, and since the pandemic, there has been a large increase in young people interested in learning the game. Danielle is 22-years-old and has been playing for over 10 years.
It's a game that you can play endlessly with different variations, the combination of quarantine and the release of the show, The Queen's Gambit... It has really sparked interest- I think the show did an excellent job showing how intimate but exciting and invigorating chess can be.
