New York’s Minimum Wage Goes Up on December 31st
On Monday, December 31st, the minimum wage in New York is going to increase. Here in Upstate NY, the hourly General Minimum Wage Rate is going to increase from $10.40/hr to $11.10/hr for non-tipped workers. It still seems States like New York have to act more often regarding wages since the Federal Minimum Wage is still $725/hr and hasn't increased since 2009.
What do you think about this? Do you support a Minimum Wage? Is it too low? Too High? Should we get rid of it all together?
