Zimmerman Fight Cancelled, Then Picked Up By New Promoter!

The promoter of the George Zimmerman vs. DMX Celebrity boxing match got cold feet and has cancelled the fight. But now a new promoter says he will put Zimmerman in the ring, and, oh yes…there will be blood!

This weekend, celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman grew a conscious and called off the Zimmerman/DMX fight.

Rumor has it that he was getting death threats and repeatedly asked “If a guy murdered your son, would you consider him a celebrity?”

His response was this: “Just looked at my son and daughter today wow I’m so lucky those people must be in so much pain … all you people are right.”

It’s unclear exactly what he meant by “those people”…but probably a poor choice of words. More on him after Tuesday’s press conference.

BUT WAIT…THERE’S MORE!

According to TMZ.com, a new fight promoter has dibs on a new Zimmerman fight set for March 15, and all profits will go to the Trayvon Martin Foundation. But this will not be a “celebrity” match. The owner of FilmOn, Alki David, says, “This is going to be like Fight Club…a very bloody event.”

I think we all like the idea of Zimmerman being beat to a bloody pulp, but why should he get paid for it? Put this murderer, domestic abuser, drunk driver, gun-toting idiot behind bars and let the killers handle this business (IJS)!
