Despite criticism about Young Thug's anticipated album being named the Carter 6 (a side-diss to his former label mate Lil Wayne) he still moved forward with the release but named it Barter 6  instead, still a side-diss in my opinion lol but anyways it actually isn't doing too bad! According to Billboard, it ranked in at No. 5 with 17,000 copies sold (stemming from four full days of sales following its April 16 release). While not part of the set, Young Thug stands at No. 12 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs as a featured artist on Rae Sremmurd’s “Throw Sum Mo,” also featuring Nicki Minaj, its current peak. The rapper re-enters the Artist 100 at No. 52.

Although Young Thug is VERY eccentric we'll say, his lyrical creativeness cannot be denied. He may not be every hip hop enthusiasts cup of tea but whatever he's doing seems to be working just fine. Let me know what you think!
