Dallas, Texas rapper Yella Beezy is recovering after being wounded in a drive-by shooting in Lewisville, Texas on Sunday morning (Oct. 14).

The shooting occurred on the Sam Rayburn Tollway around 3:30 a.m., reports the Dallas News. Beezy, born Adrian Brown, was reportedly driving on the tollway when another vehicle pulled alongside his and started letting off shots. Over a dozen rounds were fired, according to police. Authorities arrived on the scene and the rapper was rushed to a nearby hospital. The 26-year-old MC was reportedly hit multiple times but is recovering from his injuries. The news has been verified by Beezy's team, who have notified XXL that the rapper is in stable condition.

It is unclear whether or not this is a road rage incident, but news of the shooting has the internet speculating that it could have something to do with a beef with comedian Roylee Pate, who died due to a blood clot after being shot earlier this month.

Artists have been sending Beezy well wishes on social media including Trae Tha Truth who posted about the shooting on Instagram. "Damn.... Prayers Up... Bad News Coming From Every Direction The Last 24hours," he captioned a photo of the rapper. "Pull Through🙏🏿 @yellabeezy214 #Texas."

The offering contains the standout track "Up One" featuring Quality Control artist Lil Baby.
