WNY Project X Party Shutdown By Police

Well it's one thing for kids to stay up a few extra minutes before bed,but to have an actual party is another. According to WGRZ,Police say they were called a little after midnight by a neighbor reporting a loud party.When police arrived, many of the kids ran. However, police say at least 16 were still there.

Police say marijuana and alcohol were present.The teens were not charged and sent home with parents, or taken home by police.Police say no parents were home at the time, and will not be charged because they did not supply the alcohol or marijuana, nor did they condone the actions of the teens.Police say many of the teens involved were area student athletes, and school districts have been notified, many of which have a zero tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use.
