Rapist Upset That He May Have Gotten HIV From Rape Victim [#BIGDUMMYFILES]

A convicted rapist collapsed after police told him he may have contracted HIV from the woman he assaulted. Richard Thomas, 27, was sentenced last week to five years and four months for raping a woman while she slept. He pleaded guilty to the crime in Liverpool Crown Court on July 20. Thomas will find out from test results later this week whether he's contracted the disease.

What an idiot, how can he be upset with the victim ? She didnt invite you to have sex with her, so why would she tell you that she has HIV. To quote a good song.."And isn't it ironic, don't ya think?" My heart goes out to the rape victim and while I do have a sense of "poetic justice", I cant help but think that this guy will somehow find a way (and a disgusting lawyer) to sue this woman for him contracting HIV from her. I also somehow think they're will be enough bleeding hearts to award him damages too. Sad but true.
