Y'all thought 50 cent Created the hit Starz Show Power well he didn't lol. “Power” might have one more season left, but it certainly won’t be the last we hear from the show’s creator and show-runner Courtney A Kemp.

She is taking her talents to HBO where she will be developing a one-hour drama series called “Dirty Thirty.”

Like Power, the show will be set in present day New York, though the show is actually inspired by a true story of a gang of bad cops operating out of the city’s 30th Precinct back in the 1990s, according to Variety.

“It begins as a story of a cop family and ends as the story of a crime wave infecting the highest levels of municipal government, corrupting the justice system and defining a city,” according to Variety.

Her prior credits include “The Good Wife,” “Eli Stone,” and “The Bernie Mac Show.” And before the days of her television prowess, Kemp wrote for GQ, Vibe and Marie Claire, among other prestigious magazines.
