The Supreme Court ruled today that the Affordable Health Care Act doe not go against the constitution as Republicans and other haters claim. Fox New and CNN were so ready to proclaim Obama's presidency a failure that they went ahead and ran a story stating the Supreme Court ruled AGAINST IT!!  Read more about the networks big mistake and what Obama Care means for you and your family.

So called "seasoned journalists" were to quick  to report that the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the individual mandate portion of  healthcare reform law, declaring that the heart of the bill had been gutted.  That was exactly wrong -- the law was upheld on a 5-4 vote.

At 10:09 a.m., CNN sent out a breaking news alert: “The Supreme Court has struck down the individual mandate for health care – the legislation that requires all to have health insurance.”

Nine minutes later, the network sent out a retraction:  “Correction: The Supreme Court backs all parts of President Obama’s signature health care law, including the individual mandate that requires all to have health insurance.”

In the studio, Wolf Blitzer announced he’d gotten conflicting reports, then announced the correct result. Chief Justice Roberts initially said that the individual mandate was not a valid exercise of Congressional power under the Commerce Clause. CNN reported that fact, but then wrongly reported that therefore the court struck down the mandate as unconstitutional. However, that was not the whole of the Court’s ruling.

CNN regrets that it didn't wait to report out the full and complete opinion regarding the mandate. We made a correction within a few minutes and apologize for the error," CNN said in its correction.

So now that we set the record straight, let's talk about what the Affordable Care Act means for you in 2014.

- All Americans will be covered

- You can keep your current health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare or pay into the Federal Coverage

- If you are under 26, you can get health insurance from the plan your parents use.

- If you’re on Medicare, you can get free mammograms.

- You will not be denied if you have  a pre-existing condition

- Insurance companies can’t deny you coverage even if you get sick and make a mistake on your health insurance application.

"Today is a great day for all Americans. It is refreshing to know that the Supreme Court of the United States has ruled objectively and in the favor of all American people.  Today's decision is the best decision for all Americans. GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney agreeing with the dissent should send a clear message to all voters; he will be a president with no care for the American people. This law will keep citizens from having to frequent emergency rooms because they will have access to preventative healthcare," said D. Alexander Bullock.

The Affordable Care Act will cover 17 million children that have been denied access to coverage due to pre-existing conditions, 105 million will no longer have lifetime limits and over six million young adults will be able to access coverage through their parents health plans.
