Mary J. Blige Hits 40 Today

 Mary J. Blige, is celebrating her own milestone of turning 40 today!

The singer has accomplished so much during her 40 years, including the release of her new fragrance My Life, winning nine Grammy Awards and having a successful recording career that’s still thriving! She recently shared some exciting news to fans that she’s recording in the studio with Alicia Keys and Maxwell for her new album!

Mary J. Blige tweeted to her fans this week that she was in the studio with R&B greats Maxwell and Alicia Keys. So other than some great collaborations featured on her upcoming 10th studio album, what else can we expect to hear from the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul?

According to super producer Danjahandz, the new album will be “classic Mary in 2011.”
