Labor Day will be on Monday, September 2 this year. Although signifying the end of summer, it's still a day for you to enjoy and take advantage of what warm weather we have left here in Buffalo. Finally, a day where all of our hard work is recognized, a day where we'll hardly work, if at all...what could be better?

If you end up going out and about, here is a full list of what’s going on and what’s open and closed in Buffalo on Labor Day.

Post Offices: CLOSED

Buffalo Public Libraries: CLOSED

Walden Galleria Mall: Open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (normal operating hours)

McKinley Mall: Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (normal operating hours)

Boulevard Mall: Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (normal operating hours)

Eastern Hills Mall: Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Darien Lake Theme Park: Open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Martin’s Fantasy Island: Open from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Buffalo Zoo: Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (normal operating hours)

Buffalo Museum of Science: Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (normal operating hours)

Buffalo & Erie County Historical SocietyCLOSED (Always closed Mondays.)

Albright-Knox Art Gallery and Burchfield Penney Art Center: CLOSED (Always closed Mondays.)

Niagara Falls Blues Festival: Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1.

National Buffalo Wing Festival: Saturday, August 31, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, September 1, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Beer and Bacon Festival: Saturday, August 31
