Is Recreational marijuana coming to NY State?

Years ago NY Governor Cuomo was very luke warm about the entire marijuana movement.  He never really said much about it or mentioned the presence of it coming to the state. Yesterday the Governor had another tune as called Monday for the legalization of marijuana for recreational use in New York, saying it was beyond time for the state to deal with the "debilitating criminal stigma" of prior convictions related to the drug, according to spectrum news.Marijuana legalization is expected to become a huge topic at the Capitol come January, when everyone is ready to kick off the new year.

He gave intense support about, vowing to allow marijuana for recreational use in the nation's fourth-largest state.Cuomo had taken some step after Canada's legalization quickly setting up a task force to craft a bill allowing legalization which is expected to be done this year.
