Is P. Diddy A “Drop Out” or a Success Story? [Audio]

The #1 Wealthiest Hip Hop Artist on the Forbes list is invited to speak at Howard University’s graduation. Cool right? The controversy come in when it’s reveal that this black man didn’t actually graduate from college. Details inside.

Sean Combs went to Howard University 20 years ago, but walked away before he got his degree. Of course he went on the build Bad Boy label and launch the careers of Biggie Smalls, Faith Evans, 112 and many more!
Yet, some people are hating on Diddy and calling him a “drop out” unfit to address the graduating students.

Well come May, he will have an “honorary degree” from the University.

Despite the protest, Interim President Wayne A.I. Frederick stands by his decision of having Diddy speak at graduation.

“In selecting the individuals who will be awarded honorary degrees, Howard University continues the tradition of identifying leaders whose work has clearly contributed to the advancement of their fields and the world,” he said in a statement. “We are honored to have Mr. Combs serve as our speaker. He sat in classrooms where our students sit, walked ‘The Yard,’ and like many students, his entrepreneurial spirit was sparked at Howard.

We know he will inspire our class to work hard and to always strive for excellence.”

Back in 1995 Puff Daddy & the Notorious BIG rocked the stage at Howard’s homecoming.
