Chalk one up for director Spike Lee. A Paris court has ordered TF1 Droits Audiovisuels to pay $46 million to the producers of the Miracle of St Anna for failing to honor a contractual agreement to distribute the movie internationally.

The beef is over a 2007 agreement between TF1 and On My Own production company. The French production company was suppose to distribute the World War  II movie across the world.  They claim Lee delivered a totally different movie then they agreed upon and that he failed to hand over a $16 million advance.

A Paris court disagreed and cited TF1 for breach of contract and ordered the company to make the big money payout.
