Tonight on ‘American Idol,’ soul man Joshua Ledet was challenged to sing a song from the ’80s, and even though the 19-year-old powerhouse wasn’t even alive in this era, he nailed Simply Red’s cover of ’If You Don’t Know Me by Now,’ which was a hit for the English band back in 1989.
Ledet admitted to being “spoiled” by his family back at home, but he seemed all man and not a bit mama’s boy tonight during his incredibly performance.
Nicki Minaj has revealed the cover art for her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ album, which is slated for release on April 3. Surprisingly, for an LP that is supposed to be recorded mainly in the voice of Nicki’s unforgiving, crazed alter ego Roman Zolanski, the cover art is bright and colorful.

Drake and Rihanna are on the brink of dropping their collabo video for ‘Take Care,’ which is the fourth single off of Drizzy’s album of the same name. Both Drake and Rihanna are known for their artistic tastes, so for their ‘Take Care’ video, they recruited director Yoann Lemoine, the same guy who is the brains behind Lana Del Rey‘s compelling, passionate and regal visual for ‘Born to Die.’
Good news for Jason Derulo fans! The ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ singer is doing much better than he was last week after he sustained a broken neck during tour rehearsals. Derulo filmed a video updating his fans on his current condition, saying he’s “OK” and that the hardest part of this whole ordeal isn’t the fact that he fractured his neck (an injury that can sometimes lead to paralysis and death), but that he was forced to cancel his world tour.
When the time came for Rihanna to choose her third single off of ‘Talk That Talk,’ she decided to let her fans do the picking. After receiving tons of tweets and Facebook comments, Rihanna has announced that the title track ‘Talk That Talk’ will be her next single.
Some people might have been recovering from New Year’s Eve hangovers the following day, but not Drake! While performing, Drizzy played one of his favorite ‘Take Care’ tracks, ‘Look What You’ve Done,’ for the first time ever.
On Monday, hysteria broke out at the Mall of America. Supposedly, a massive fight ensued due to rumors that rappers Lil Wayne and Drake were going to make an appearance at the Mall of America, located in Bloomington, Minn. Nine people were arrested at the crowded mall after chairs, curses, and fists started flying rather unexpectedly on Dec. 26, which is one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
