The Texas student, 12-year-old Xavier Davis, was sent to the principal's office by a teacher, who Xavier said told him, 'you can't have two lines in your hair,' according to KXXV. The school gave the boy an ultimatum, fix his fade or face in-school suspension! After spending a day in ISS, he returned to school with only one line. But the solution was quite ridiculous itself, his mom had to take a permanent marker and color in one line. His father, Matt Davis said, "She took a sharpie permanent marker and colored the bottom of his hair in. So in order for him to get an education, we have to treat his hair like a coloring book, I guess." KXXV reports that the dress code at the district states that letters, symbols and designs beyond a single straight line which draw attention to an individual shall not be permitted.
