Watch Migos Perform “Bad and Boujee” at 2017 Met Gala
Migos have been one of the great glow-up stories of the last year, and the epic tale continued when they performed their platinum-selling "Bad and Boujee" at the 2017 Met Gala.
Celebrating Comme des Garçons and its founder Rei Kawakubo, Quavo, Offset and Takeoff looked ultra-fly when they took the stage to perform their chart-topping banger. For their part, the audience looked like they were into the performance—even if the crowd didn't appear to be that big.
"Bad and Boujee" is Migos' most commercially successful single to date, and the album it's from, titled, Culture, has proven to be just as big. It went platinum just last month.
Between showing up on TV shows, performing at lush fashion events and selling platinum records, it's easy to see why Donald Glover—aka, Childish Gambino—compared the group to a legendary rock band earlier in the year.
“Because I think they’re the Beatles of this generation, and they don’t get a lot of respect, I think, outside of like Atlanta,” he explained at the Golden Globes back in January. "There’s a generation, sort of like the YouTube generation that I kind of came up with, there’s a generation of kids that are growing up on something that is completely separate from a whole group of people. And honestly, ["Bad and Boujee is] just fly. There’s no better song to have sex to.”
