Earlier this week, Buffalo Bills' superstar Von Miller stated during an interview that there is nothing to do here in Buffalo.

Well, as someone who grew up here in West Seneca I know that statement is false and I know there is plenty of things to do during your downtime here in Western New York.

I wanted to help the newest Buffalo Bills feel at home and let him know that he just doesn't have to stay home. He can get out and about and enjoy many things that the City of Buffalo and Western New York has to offer.

So, Mr. Miller, here are five things to do in Buffalo.

1 - Go visit Niagara Falls. How many places have you lived where you have a Natural World Wonder in your backyard. Check out the views from both the American side and Canadian sides. You won't get those views in LA.

2 - Go grab some wings. Yes, Buffalo is known as the home of the Chicken Wing. So go and explore the Buffalo Wing Trail. Not only will you enjoy amazing wings but you also get a chance to see different parts of the region.

3 - Go take a ride on Lake Erie. Whether you hop on a boat, kayak, jet ski, sailboat, or just walk along the Lake, you are sure to enjoy being on or near Lake Erie. I recommend heading out to the lake and watching the sunset. The sunsets in Western New York are some of the best in the state of New York if not the country.

4 - Grab a cold one. There is no lack of local breweries, distilleries, and wineries here in Western New York. From beer to bourbon to wine slushies if you are looking for an adult beverage you will find some of the world's best right here in Western New York.

5 - Catch a live show. If you are into music there is no shortage of places to see live showers from some of the biggest artists in music. Artpark, The Outer Harbor, KeyBank Center, Darien Lake, and Town Ballroom are just some of the amazing music venues you can catch a show at here in Western New York.

Could I go on and on...of course, I could because there is so much going on here in Western New York each and every day. So Mr. Miller, please go out and enjoy what Buffalo has to offer before saying there is nothing to do here.
