The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department plans on turning a complaint over to the District Attorney’s office to possibly file charges against The Game following a prank that jammed up their emergency lines for nearly 2 hours.

Around 5pm yesterday (Aug. 12th), The Game posted a tweet to his 580, 421 followers claiming to be seeking an intern. The number he included in the tweet was the number to the LASD department.

According to LA County Sheriff spokesperson Lieut. Suzan Young, the phone started ringing around 5:20 pm yesterday and was jammed for almost two hours, delaying emergency calls.

After discovering that it was The Game behind the overwhelming traffic jam, Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Parker tweeted “@TheGame U Tweeted phone# of #LASD #Compton Sheriff & said to call for internship when there is none. Lg.vol.calls are compromising public safety”

Game responded to the Captain Parker tweeting “Yall can track a tweet down but can’t solve murders! Dat was an accident but maybe now yall can actually do yall job!!!! #iSpeak4ThePeople”

Possible charges include delaying or obstructing a peace officer in the performance of their duties.
