Today In Black History: Remembering Malcolm X [VIDEO]
Malcolm Little was born on May 19, 1925 and joined the ancestors on February 21, 1965, he changed his last name to ‘X’ because he refused to carry a name of his slave masters’. He was also known as el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz.
He was one of the most dynamic leaders of the Black Revolution. His compassion for the well-being of African Americans in the 1960’s still reverberates to this day as a testament of great emotional power from which every American can learn much.
He has been called one of the greatest and most influential African Americans in history.
If he were alive today he would have been 90 years of age.
