There’s a New Live Music Venue In The Southtowns

Spring will soon turn into summer, which means live music season across Western New York.

Pandemic restrictions are also loosening and in some cases, ending. There are plenty of great places to watch local bands and singers perform at local bars and restaurants, and there's a new venue opening in the southtowns.

According to their Facebook page, The Sound Ground at Chick's will be a new music venue that is looking to fill out the summer concert schedule; they had open interviews for their venue, bowling alley and bar this past week.

Chick's is known for bowling and food, but the Sound Ground at Chick's will be a concert destination for many local bands in Western New York, that cover country, rock, pop and more.

The Sound Ground at Chick's is located on Erie Road in Angola, and will be yet another place to go watch live music this summer in the southtowns.

I used to pass Chick's all the time on the way to Angola to visit family, and that area is so great for live music already. The weather is getting warmer and restrictions are ending, which means Western New York is about to have a lot of fun with great live (local) music and food.
