The Scenario: Is It Okay To Lock Your Phone In A Relationship?

The letter I received for tonight’s Scenario address a question that a lot of people deal with in relationships!

Dear Supreme,

Me and my boyfriend argue constantly about him locking his phone. I feel like if he doesn’t have anything to hide, then he shouldn’t lock it. He says that if I trusted him, I shouldn’t want to go through his phone anyways! This is causing a major strain on our relationship especially since I caught him out there before. Should I just trust him or insist that he keeps his phone unlocked?
